BCL rivals trade gunfire over supremacy at CU

Two rival groups of Bangladesh Chhatra League, student wing of the ruling Awami League, exchanged gunfire during a clash at Chittagong University (CU) on Sunday morning following a feud over establishing supremacy on the campus.However, none was hurt in the gunfire.Witnesses said members of Choose Friend with Care (CFC) group and
Varsity Express (VEx) group, two rival factions of the CU unit BCL, locked in the clash at Shahjalal Hall when members of the VX group entered the hall in the morning.The gunshot trading was followed by a chase and counter-chase between the two groups.
