BCL submits memorandum to VC of BAU

Mymensingh, March 18 – A memorandum has been given to the University Vice Chancellor demanding broadband connection with high speed and prevention of mosquito bombs at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) signed by BAU BCL president Sabuj Kazi and general secretary Mia Mohammad Rubel on Monday.
WiFi connection supplied by the University authority on campus area and halls is inadequate and very low in speed. Only 30-40% of students of the campus have this opportunity to use this low-speed Internet. Without Facebook, no educational website can be accessed with this WiFi connection. At the same time, they also claimed that mosquito-borne diseases have developed on the campus due to the abundant of mosquitos, expressed in the memorandum.
The leaders demanded that the administration solve the problems as soon as possible. Otherwise, they called harder movement with general students for the sake of students. – BAU Correspondent
