Foreign exchange reserves of Bangladesh reached 15.06 billion US dollars breaking all the previous record.Assistant spokesperson for Bangladesh Bank AFM Assaduzzaman made the disclosure on Tuesday.
A central bank official, wishing anonymity said, “The country’s foreign exchange reserves stood at 1,506 million US dollars.” Bangladesh’s foreign exchange reserves in the first week of the last month topped the 13 billion US dollar mark for the first time propelled by inflow of remittance.
