Rajshahi, Dec 9 – The Begum Rokeya Day, organized by Rajshahi University Drama Association (RUDA), was observed on Rajshahi University Campus on Sunday. On Occasion of the day, they took out a rally that after parading main streets of the campus ended in front of Begum Rokeya Hall of the university with a meeting.
Moderated by RUDA general secretary, ProfessorSohel Rana the meeting was addressed by Dr. Sadequl Arefin Matin of Sociology department and Dr. A K M Ariful Islam of Ceramics and Sculpture.
Speakers call upon to the authority to install Dummy of Begum Rokeya bust on campus, observing Begum Rokeya Day officially in every year and introducing Rokeya Medal.
