A young man was killed in a road accident in Navaran area of Sharsha
upazila on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Jewel Ahmed, 23, son of late Shamsher
Ali Sheikh of Laxmipasha village in Lohagara upazila of Narail.
Locals said the accident took place when a motorcycle carrying Jewel
was hit by a speeding truck in the area around 4.00pm, leaving him
critically injured.
He was rushed to Jessore 250-bed Hospital where he succumbed to his
injuries around 9.00pm. -UNB, Benapole
