BFF to arrange Women’s Football League in Oct-Nov

Dhaka- Chairman of Women’s wing of Bangladesh Football Federation and FIFA council member Mahfuza Akter Kiron on Thursday said that they will arrange Women’s Football League in October-November this year.
“We’ll arrange amateur football league for women’s booters either in the last week of October or in the first week of November this year. The date and schedule are yet to be fixed,” Kiron said at a press conference at the BFF house.
BFF will send invitation letters on Saturday to the particular clubs, which have BFF club licensing regulations across the country.
BFF club licensing regulations consists of a minimum of five main sections (Sporting, Infrastructure, Personal and Administrative, Legal and Financial) and each also contains a set of minimum criteria including head coach, CEO or General Secretary, Club coordinator, annual budget, training facilities and legal entity.
BFF also fixed a minimum age of 15 for the booters.
“All clubs have to fulfill these criteria for participating in the league and the minimum age of the players has been fixed at 15 years,” Kiron added.
The women’s football league was held for the last time in 2013.UNB
