A battalion commander level flag meeting between Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Indian Border Security Force (BSF) was held here on Tuesday.Lieutenant Colonel Tariqul Islam, staff officer of the BGB Dhaka Headquarters, led the 10-member delegation while Trivedi Satwant, officer of Kolkata IPS, led his country’s team at the meeting held at BGB camp auditorium in Benapole.At the meeting, the border forces of the two neighbouring countries discussed the issue of infrastructure construction on an area of 150 yards between Bangladesh and India and protection of smuggling of drugs and human trafficking through border between the two countries.The meeting started in the afternoon and ended at night. -UNB, Benapole
