Dhaka – A member of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) was killed in a road accident on Jessore-Benapole Highway in Hajirali area of Jhikargachha upazila in Jessore on Tuesday.The deceased was identified as Mafizul Islam, 30, a member of BGB Battalion-51 in Khagrachari and son of Shamsur Rahmanof Hogladanga village in Manirampur upazila.Officer-in-Charge of Jhikargachha police station Abu Saleh Md. Masud Karim said Mafizul fell on the road while getting down from a bus and was crushed under the wheels of it.Later, police recovered the body and sent it to the Jessore General Hospital morgue for autopsy.Mafizul was going to Hajirali o spend the Eid holidays with his wife.UNB news agency
