A motorcyclist was killed and his two co-riders were seriously injured
in an accident on the Daulatdia-Kushtia Highway in Gandhimari area of
Kalukhali upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Sohagh while the injured were Jony and
Sajb. They all hail from Kushtia housing area.
Abdul Mannan Forazi, officer-in-charge of Gandhimara highway police
station, said the accident occurred when a truck crashed into the
motorcycle carrying the three on the Daulatdia-Kushtia highway.
Police detained the truck.
However, the trucker went into hiding following the accident. -UNB, Rajbari
