A Dhaka court framed charges against 21 Chhatra League leaders and activists in connection with tailor Biswajit Das killing.Judge of Metropolitan Session Judge Court M Jahurul Haq passed the order on Sunday.
Rejecting the acquittal and bail pleas of the accused, the court fixed June 13 for hearing deposition.
On April 2, another court took into cognizance the charges against the 21 accused in the killing case.
Of the accused seven are in police custody, 14 at large and four were acquitted from the case.
On March 5, detective police submitted charges against the 21 accused for their alleged involvement with the killing.
Biswajit, 24, proprietor of a tailor in Old Dhaka’s Shakharibazar, was stabbed and beaten to death during 18-party alliance’s road blockade programme on December 9, 2012. (Baglanews24.com)
