Dhaka- A 7-member delegation of Bangladesh Krira Shikka Protishtan (BKSP), led by its DG Brigadier General Mohammad Shamsur Rahman, left Dhaka for China Sunday afternoon to visit the famous Shenyang Sports University, the pre-eminent finishing school for sports and athletics in Asia.During the visit, the BKSP authority will sign an MoU with the renowned Chinese sports university for exchanging sportsmen and coaches between the two institutions that also featured intensive training facilities in both countries.Most of the Olympics and International gold medalists Chinese athletes went through this famous Sports University.Under this deal, BKSP will be benefited mostly as China is far ahead of Bangladesh in all the sports except cricket. BKSP will offer training facilities for Chinese cricketers, if the Sports University required.BKSP which going introduce Bachelor of Sports degree in the institute from next year will be benefited under the contract as it creates an opportunity to bring teacher and expert from Chinese Sports University, alongside for the Department of Sports Science of BKSP.The other members of BKSP delegates are : Dr Mohammad Aminul Islam (Director, Sports Directorate), Mohammad Azizul Haque ( Joint Secretary, Ministry of Youth and Sports), Mohammad Mosharraf Hossain Mollah (Director, Training BKSP), Begum Shamima Sultana, ( Assistant Professor, Physics, BKSP), Begum Nusrat Sharmin (Deputy Director, Sports Science, BKSP) and Ujjal Chakraborty (Football Coach, BKSP).
