The Bangladesh Cricket Board floated the tender in the middle of last month but hadn’t received any bids from local television networks by last week’s deadline.
It’s now expected they’ll enter talks with broadcasters who expressed an interest in the rights, but failed to place a formal offer.
A New Zealand Cricket spokesperson says the tour is locked in and a party will be heading to the country shortly to check out facilities as planned. – Cricket News/Radio Sports
