B’BARIA: Over 100 people including two police constables were injured in hours-long clash over trifling matter in Gokorno Bazar of district municipality area Saturday.Locals and police said that two persons from Chhoybaria and Gokorno Bazar locked into altercation over auto-rickshaw fare around 11:00am. Later villagers from the two villages rushed there with locally made lethal arms and locked into fierce clash, leaving over hundred from both sides injured.
Some shops were also vandalized during the clash.
On information police rushed to the spot and opened rubber bullets and tear shells to take the situation under control. – banglanews24.com
