Miscreants have hurled a petrol bomb at the ancestral home of Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad in Chuadanga’s Andulbarhia.Police recovered a bottle containing petrol from a banana grove adjacent to the house on Friday morning, Jiban Nagar Police Station OC Moshiur Rahman said. Nobody was injured since the house was locked, he said.
Neighbour Ruhul Amin Santu said they had not heard any sound of the blast at night.
