A minor boy drowned as a boat capsized in the Patlai river at Mandiata village in Tahirpur upazila on Friday.The deceased was identified as Atabur Mia, 10, son of late Musabbir Miah of Nayaband village in the upazila.Local people said the boat sank while it along with some passengers was crossing the river at about 10:00 am.All but Atabur managed to swim ashore.Later locals recovered Atabur’s floating body. -UNB, Sunamganj
