Boycott of class-exams by BAU students continues

Mymensingh, Sept 15 – Students of two faculties of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) have continued their movements boycotting their regular classes and exams.In support of their movement, Animal Husbandry (AH) faculty students made a human chain in front of Muktomoncho demanding for reinstate of livestock extension officer (LEO) post in the newly proposed organogram by Department of Livestock Service (DLS) and separate directory for livestock production and treatment.
Separately, Agricultural Engineering and Technology (AET) faculty students brought a procession demanding inclusion of technical cadre in Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS). The procession started from AET faculty and finished in front of administration building.
Class exams boycotted by the students of AET faculty from Monday and AH faculty from Wednesday.
They have decided to continue their movement abstaining from class exams until the fulfillment of their demands. – BAU Correspondent
