Two brothers killed their elder brother at Putail-Dakshinpara village
in Manikganj on Wednesday. The victim was identified as Saijuddin, 65,
son of Khaimuddin of Putail-Dakkhinpara Village. He died on the spot
after his two brothers Dalil Uddin, Saheb Uddin and their sons
attacked on him with sharp weapons at around 7:30 am after a quarrel.
Additional Police Super of the district Md. Mizanur Rahaman said that
there was a long-standing land dispute between Saijuddin and his
brothers. The motive of the killing was to grab Saijuddin’s property,
he suspected. The officer said they have found some important clues,
but he would not disclose any details for the sake of investigation.
