BSF kills Bangladeshi on Panchbibi border

A Bangladeshi national was shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Hatkhola frontier in Panchbibi upazila early Wednesday.
The deceased identified as Azizul alias Eju, 34, son of Tofajjal Hossain Tofa and a resident of Ramkrishnapur village in Sadar upazila, was a cattle trader.
Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) sources said when a group of Bangladeshi cattle traders were entering the Indian territory to bring cattle, BSF members fired shots on them at the border point at about 3:00 am, leaving Azizul dead on the spot.Local BGB camp sources confirmed the incident saying a letter was sent to the BSF asking for return of the body through a flag meeting. -UNB
