Members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) took away 34 cattle from
Bangladesh territory in Tentulia upazila on Sunday.
Locals said the BSF members from Cemetery camp entered the Bangladesh
territory near main pillar no 440 of Sarialjot border by opening
barbed wire fence and took away the 34 cattle in the evening.
The cattle had been kept there for grazing.
When locals tried to resist the BSF men, they threatened to open fire on them.
Tentulia BGB Company Commander Subedar Mohammad Mozammel Haque
confirmed the incident.
A letter has been sent to BSF protesting the incident, he said. -UNB, Panchagarh
