Police arrested Sumi, wife of Sohel Rana, owner of collapsed Rana Plaza, and his three other relatives to know his whereabouts.Detective Branch Police held Sumi, 22, from her father’s house and Rana’s Cousin Jahangir was held from Savar early Saturday.
On Friday, Police detained Munni Begum, wife of Rana’s cousin Jahangir Alam and Anwar Hossain, 50, uncle of Munni. They had business relation with Rana.
At least 332 garments workers have been found dead and thousands others injured as an 8-storied building–Rana Plaza–collapsed in Savar bus stand area of Dhaka on Wednesday morning.
The rescue team identified some 319 bodies and handed over to family and relatives.
Besides, DB arrested two owners of two garment factories, which were in collapsed Rana Plaza, from city’s Ramna area early Saturday.
