Narsingd – Two people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a microbus on Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Shibpur upazila on Thursday.The deceased were identified as Mamun Khan, 55, microbus driver and a resident of Louhajang in Munshiganj district, and Shaheen Miah, 45, of Narayanganj.Officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station Golam Mostafa said the accident took place around 1pm when the Dhaka-bound bus collided with the microbus coming from Narayanganj at Karar Chak on the highway, leaving microbus driver Mamun dead on the spot and its three passengers injured.The injured were taken to Sadar Hospital where doctors declared Saheen dead.On information, police recovered the bodies and sent those to sadar hospital morgue.(UNB)
