Tangail, May 2 – Seven people were killed and 30 others injured as a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Haripur in Ghatail upazila on Tuesday night. The deceased could not be identified immediately.The Officer-in-charge of Ghatail Police Station Kamal Hossain said the Dhanbari-bound bus of ‘Binimoy Paribahan’ from Dhaka skidded off the road and fell into the ditch around 10pm, leaving its seven passengers dead on the spot and 30 others injured.
The injured were taken to Ghatail upazila health complex, he said. – UNB
