A Businessman was killed at Rajagonj village under Kanaighat Upazila under Sylhet district on Sunday
night. The deceased was identified as Abul kalam Dinar, 40, owner of Kalam Enterprise, son of
Rafikur Rahman of Nowamati under Kanaighat in the district.
Police and local said, a gang of miscreant chopped him around 10 pm while he was return home
from his shop. Local people brought him to Kanaighat Health Complex where attending doctor
referred him to MAG Osmani Medical College and on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Officer-in-charge of Kanaighat Police Station told the New Nation, he might have been killed following previous enmity. – Our Correspondent
