The Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance system has been installed at the Arts Building and Lecture Theater Building of Dhaka University (DU).DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (administration) Professor Shahid Akhtar Hossain inaugurated the CCTV as chief guest at a function today at Arts Building premises.Dean of the Faculty of Arts Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman and other faculty members were present on the occasion.DU Pro-Vice Chancellor (administration) Professor Shahid Akhtar Hossain hoped that the newly installed CCTV surveillance system would play an effective role to protect social misdeeds and maintain congenial academic atmosphere in the campus.
