The Pir (religious leader) of Charmonai and head of Islami Andolon Bangladesh on Tuesday afternoon in the opening ceremony of the three-day long yearly Mahfil (religious gathering) at Charmonai Darbar Sharif, about four miles far from Barisal city, said results of the works depended on the pure honest aims (Niyat) for those.Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, the Pir of Charmonai, while delivering his sermon also said that if any one attended this Mahfil to get results of any materialistic and worldly affairs, then he should change his aim to only satisfy the almighty Allah to get benefits for participating in this Mahfil.He quoting Hadith from Bukhari Sharif said if any one came to get results for wining election, curing diseases, getting worldly wealth, then he would be failure to fulfill his aim. Because this Mahfil will inspire the participants to get benefits in the life of after-world affairs based on his activities on this worldly periods.Thousands of followers gathered at the Mahfil ground to participate in this three-day programme spreading on 10-square kilometers areas covered under Shamiyana (Cloth-shed).Special forces of law enforcing agencies including 6-thousand volunteers engaged to maintain discipline, law and order and medical camps opened to serve the participants, organizers of programme said.Barisal Correspondent
