A Chinese business delegation paid a courtesy call on country’s apex trade body Federation of Bangladesh Chambers and Commerce Industries (FBCCI) and Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DCCI) leaders on Thursday.
The delegation of CCPIT led by its vice-chairman Dr Songen met FBCCI president Kazi Akram Uddin and DCCI president Sabur Khan at capital’s Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel.
CCPIT is the main organiser of the ‘Kunming International Trade Fair’. FBCCI and DCCI both are taking part in the fair for some time.
Kazi Akram Uddin said, “Bangladesh has been selected as the theme country of ‘Kunming International Trade Fair’. It is an honour for Bangladesh. Exhibition of Bangladesh products to potential buyers is made through this fair.”
DCCI president Kazi Sabur Khan said Bangladesh and China have a good business relationship. Through this fair this friendship will be more strengthened.
