Chinese President for further synergizing Dhaka-Beijing ties

Dhaka – Chinese President Xi Jinping has said his country wants to further ‘synergize’ Bangladesh-China’s development strategies under the framework of the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative, UNB News Agency reported.
“I attach great importance to China-Bangladesh relations. I’m willing to work together with you to further ‘synergize’ our two countries’ development strategies,” the Chinese President said in a message to his Bangladesh counterpart Abdul Hamid.

In the congratulatory message on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of Bangladesh’s Independence and National Day, President Jinping said the traditional friendship between China and Bangladesh has been deepening in recent years and the mutual cooperation in all sectors yields ‘fruitful results’.
“I’m willing to work together with you to continuously promote new progress of the Closer China-Bangladesh Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation,” said the Chinese President.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang also issued a separate message to his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina.
“The Chinese side is willing to jointly work with the Bangladesh side to further enhance friendly exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation and raise our Closer Comprehensive Partnership of Cooperation to a new level,” said the Chinese Premier.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also sent separate message to his Bangladesh counterpart AH Mahmood Ali expressing willingness to work jointly to promote further growth of the bilateral relations between the two countries.
