Chinese Company M/s. Tianye Outdor (BD) Co,. Ltd. (Unit-1) is going to set up a Tent & Bag industry in Ishwardi Export Processing Zone.This fully foreign owned company will invest 10.5 million for setting up their plant with annual production capacity of 5 million pcs of various outdoor items including Tent, Canopy, Bag, Sleeping Bag and Bag Pack. Tianye Outdor Company will create employment opportunity for 2480 Bangladeshi nationals. It may be mentioned that this company is going to set up another Tent-Bag unit in Comilla EPZ.
An agreement to this effect has signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s. Tianye Outdor (BD) Co,. Ltd. (Unit-1) in BEPZA Complex, Dhaka today (18-07-2013). Mr. Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Mr. Qigang MA, Managing Director of Tianye Outdor (BD) Co,. Ltd. (Unit-1) signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
