Music band Chirkutt has prepared a new song for Eid-ul-Fitr. The song penned and tuned by vocalist of the band Sharmin Sultana Shumi, will be released on a digital platform.
The song will be a surprise for the fans and music buffs. Thus the band is not looking to reveal anything to the media beforehand. Everything will be disclosed right with the music launch.
Chirkutt is busy this year with film songs. The band is currently working for Dahakal and circus-film Beauty Circus. Country’s first omnibus project-‘Iti, Tomari Dhaka’ looking to get released this year also has music from Chirkutt. The band would be busy with this also. There will be no album releases this year, for these engagements.
Chirkutt’s current line-up comprises Emon Chowdhury (guitar), Pavel Areen (drums), Sharmin Sultana Sumi (vocal), Didar (bass) and Nirab (keyboard).
The band has become a familiar name for film songs having worked for box-office hits like Aynabazi, Television. The band also bagged the Channel-i Music Award 2018 in the Best Playback Music category for the song Ahare Jibon, which was recorded for Mostafa Sarwar Farooki’s Doob.
