Dhaka – Regency Club and Agrabad Nowjoan Club won their respective matches in the CJKS-Confidence Cement First Division Cricket League at two separate venues in Chittagong on Sunday.Regency Club beat Satadal Club Juniors by 43 runs at the MA Aziz Stadium while Agrabad Nowjoan Club beat Madarbari Muktakantho by three wickets at the Women’s Complex ground in Sagorika. Sent into bat first at the MA Aziz Stadium, Regency Club were all out for 138 runs in 23.5 overs in a rain curtailed 24 over a side match with Habibullah making 68 and Ashiquzzaman 17 runs.Rubaiyetul Azim grabbed four wickets for 30 runs while Mohammad Sabbir claimed two wickets for 23 runs.In reply, Satadal Club were bundled out for 95 runs in 22 overs with Anisul Islam scoring 29 runs. Saiful Islam captured three wickets for 12 while Aslamuddin and Zahedul Islam grabbed two wickets each.At Women’s complex, Madarbari Muktakantho batted first and scored 124 for 8 in reduced 20 overs with Obaidullah making 58 and Ashraf Nahid 21 runs.
