Dhaka – Defending champions Dhaka Abahani Limited will face Premier League champions Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club in the final of Khawja Rahmatullah Club Cup Hockey on Sunday at 6 pm at the floodlight Maulana Bhashani National Stadium here.BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon MP will be the cheif guest in the final and distribute prizes. Nadira Rahmatullah, wife of Khawaj Rahmatullah, will aslo present as the spcial guest.
In the day’s first semifinal, Abahani Limited smartly booked a seat for the final crushing Victoria SC by 11-1 goals.
Ferdous struck four, Mohsin three, Ashraful two while Rahman and Sabuj scord one each for the winners and Rakib netted the lone goal for the losers.
In the 2nd semi-final, Dhaka Mariner Youngs Club beat Sonali Bank by 3-0 goals at the same venue.Hasan Jubair Niloy scored two and Mahbub Hossain one for the winners.UNB
