Chapainawabganj – A schoolgirl was stabbed to death and three others were injured in an attack allegedly by a stalker in Mohipur intersection area in sadar upazila on Friday morning.The deceased was identified as Konika, daughter of Laxman Ghosh of
the area and a class X student of S A M Dwimukhi High School of the area,UNB News Agency Reported.
Mazharul Islam, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station, Abul Malek attacked Konoki and her three friends Tarin Afroz, Marium and Tanjima with a sharp weapon while they were returning from their private tutor’s house around 9am, leaving them critically injured.The injured were admitted to Sadar Hospital where doctor declared
Konika dead.Two of the injured were transferred to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital.Police arrested Malek in this connection.
