Dhaka – A college student was killed as a speeding truck hit his bicycle on Magura-Jhenaidah highway in Magura on Tuesday Morning.The deceased was identified as Biswajit Biswas, 20, a student of 1st year (hons) of Magura Govt College and son of Bibek Biswas, a resident of Bengaberuil village in sadar upazila.Officer-in-Charge of Magura police station Azmol Huda said the truck hit Biswajit’s bicycle while he was going to college, leaving him critically injured.Later, he was rushed to Magura Sadar Hospital where doctors decleared him dead.Police seized the truck and arrested its driver.A case was filed in this connection.UNB agency
