Comilla, Feb 14 – A student of Comilla University was killed and two others were injured as a Dhaka-bound bus hit an auto-rickshaw carrying them on Dhaka-Chattogram highway’s Nimshar area on Friday. The deceased was identified as Sujan Ahmed, 21, a final year student of Accounting and Information System department of the university, and the injured are his mother and sister-in-law, residents of Nimsar village in Burichang Upazila of Comilla.
The auto-rickshaw, carrying them, was dashed by a bus while it was crossing the road at about 5:00 pm, said OC Mojammel Hoque of Burichang Police Station, adding that the accident left the university student dead on the spot and two others injured.
The injured were admitted to Cumilla Medical College Hospital, he added. – CoU Correspondent
