A construction labourer died from electrocution at Thanthania Hindupara in the city on Tuesday.The deceased was identified as Shamsu Pramanik, 50, son of Bachhu Pramanik, a resident of the same area.Locals said Shamsu came in contact with a live electric wire while working in an under-construction building in the area around 1:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.Another labourer, Abdul Hannan, also received injuries in the incident. -UNB
