A fire broke out in a cotton factory in Kalibari area of Sarail upazila on Monday morning.Fire service sources said the fire broke out at Hasan Cotton Mil in Dewan Mokararam Ali market of the area around 8.00am and spread soon. On information, two firefighting units rushed to spot and brought the blaze under control after one and a half hours of frantic efforts. Owner of the factory claimed the losses caused by the fire to be around Tk20 lakh. The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately. -UNB, Brahmanbaria
