A couple was killed in a road accident in Bihar area on the Bogra-Rangpur Highway under Shibganj upazila of the district Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Golam Mostafa, 50, and his wife Jaheda Begum, 45, of Deuli village of the same upazila.Police said the accident occurred when Mostafa was riding motorcycle with his wife in the area suddenly, a Rangpur-bound bus hit the vehicle, leaving them dead on the spot.Police recovered the bodies and sent these to Bogra Medical College Hospital morgue. -BSS, Bogra
