A couple were killed in a road accident at Kapasia on Lalitabari-Dhaka highway here on Sunday night.
The dead were identified as Abdur Rashid, 50 and his wife Harbuli Begum, 45.
Police said the accident took place at Kapasia under Lalitabari upazila of the district when a CNG-run
auto-rickshaw collided head on with a motorbike carrying the couple.
The couple received fatal injuries in the accident.
They died on way to Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital.
A case was recorded with Lalitabari police station in this connection. –BSS, Sherpur
