Dhaka-A Dhaka court yesterday ( Wednesday) took cognizance of charges, police pressed against banned militant outfit JMB Chief Saidur Rahman and two others in a case lodged under the Anti-Terrorism Act.Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Kamrul Hossain Mollah after taking into cognizance of the case, set January 22 for recording the depositions of the witnesses, a court official said.
The other two accused persons are Abdulla-hil Qaderi and Ayesha Akter. According to the case documents, the three were arrested from a house near Donia Noor Masjid area under Kadamtali Police Station of the city on May 25, 2010. Police submitted the charge sheet of the case to the court on August 7, 2010.-Special Correspondent
