Two left political parties will stage countrywide demonstration on Saturday demanding cancellation of Ticfa, ensuring free and fair polls with the participation of all political parties and stopping violence during shutdowns and blockades. Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal (BSD) will jointly stage the demonstration, said a CPB press release on Friday. They suggested the other liberal and democratic political parties to announce such programmes and urged people to come out on the streets to realise the demands. In the capital, CPB and BSD will hold demonstration in front of the Central Shaheed Minar at 3 pm tomorrow (Saturday). – UNB
