Police in a drive arrested an alleged criminal along with five bombs from Chachra Raipara area in Sadar upazila on Sunday night.
The arrested was identified as Chanchal Rahman, son of Hossain, a resident of the area. He is accused in several cases filed with Kotowali Model Police Station.On secret information, a team of police conducted a drive at the residence of Chanchal at night and arrested Chanchal with the bombs, said sub-inspector Sheikh Shoab Uddin, in-charge of Chachra Police outpost.However, sensing the presence of police his two other associate fled away.A case was filed with the Kotowali Model Police Station under the Explosive Substances Act 1908. -UNB, Benapole
