Gazipur, Sept 26 – A young couple was hacked to death by miscreants at their Pubail residence in the city early Thursday.The deceased were identified as Abul Kalam, 30, and his wife Putul, 25, of the area.
Nazmul Islam, officer-in-charge of Pubail Police Station, said local people found the bodies of the couple lying in a pool of blood and informed police about it in the morning.
Later, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hosptial.
However, the motive behind the killing could not be known yet.
Safwan, the lone child of the couple, was found alive at their home. – UNB
