Train communications on Chittagong-Dhaka and Chittagong-Sylhet routes resumed Friday afternoon after three hours of suspension following derailment of a train in Sadar Dakshin upazila in the district.
Railway sources said a bogy of Chittagong-bound Jalalabadn Express train from Sylhet went off the tracks at Bijoypur around 10 am, halting train movement on the two routes.Rail services resumed around 1 pm when a salvage train removed the bogy from the tracks.
