Dhaka – Bangladesh International Master Abu Sufian Shakil of Golden SC finished 22nd in the Commonwealth Chess Championships securing six points from nine matches held at Waskaduwa in Sri Lanka on Saturday.His position was decided through tie-breaker system,AP/UNB news reported.In the 9th and last round match Saturday morning, Shakil lost to Indian GM Abhijit Kunte.GM Abhijit Gupta of India emerged unbeaten champion securing 8 points, GM Sunil Dutta Lyna Narayanan of India became unbeaten runner-up collecting 7.5 points.A total of 185 players from 10 Commonwealth countries took part in the event.
