I came to my sister’s house at Mohakhali, on 27 October 2013. They could not cook their food due to very low or no pressure of piped gas.It is a common phenomenon for them. They had to spend extra money for cooking food by using other fuel which is not fair. They regularly pay monthly fee for using piped gas. The same problem is faced in many other areas in Dhaka city.
On the other hand where gas is available, pressure being good, most people of Dhaka city do not turn off their line gas for days together.
I would like to request concerned authorities to make cylinder gas available at a reasonably reduced price of Tk 500 per cylinder and stop the piped gas supply as soon as possible for better utilisation of natural natural gas resources.
