A case was filed by Hasina Begum wife of Elangi UP member and Jamaat leader Abul Kalam against Officer in charge of Kotchandpur thana Fazlur Rahman and 7 others on Wednesday for abduction and murder of her hustand.
Judicial Magistrate Mohammad Tajul Islam said Hasina in her case mentioned name of the OC, SI Mizan, ASI Shibupodo Datta plus Motiar Rahman Kalu of Bolabariay, Moznur Rahman, Shahinur Rahman, Zahidul Master and Mizanur Rahman.He said, she alleged OC was among 8 people who abducted her husband from their house on last 18 April midnight. They abducted him by showing various types of heavy weapons. Later family members went to Gurpara police camp under kothcandpur thana but they didn’t return him. After four days on 22 May last year they found his dead body at Mamunshia village under sadar upazila. She alleged two bullets were found in his chest and vocal cord. – Shahneawz Khan Sumon
