Derailment cuts off rail service with Sylhet

Rail communications of Sylhet with other parts of the country remained
suspended as two oil tank wagons of a freight train derailed at Moghla
Bazar in Dakkhin Surma upazila on Thursday morning.
Station Master of Sylhet railway station Muhibur Rahman said two oil
tank wagons of the train veered off the tracks in the area while
leaving the station around 9:30am, halting train services from Sylhet
with other parts of the country.
On information, a salvage train from Akhaura rushed to the spot and cleared the tracks.-UNB
