Dhaka – The Dhaka Open 2018, an International Asian Level Golf Tournament to be organised by Bangladesh Professional Golfers Association (BPGA) will be held here on January 24-27.The tournament, named as the City Bank American Express Dhaka Open’ 2018, is tri-sanctioned by Asian Development (ADT), Professional Golf Tour India (PGTI) and Bangladesh Professional Golf Association (BPGA) and approved by Bangladesh Golf Federation (BGF).A total of 132 golfers from home and abroad will take part in the professional tournament, including 45 professional golfers from ADT, 45 professional golfers from PGTI and 42 professional golfers from PGTI.The City Bank American Express was named as title sponsor of the tournament at a function on Tuesday where tournament’s logo was also unveiled. The co-sponsor for this event is Microsoft Bangladesh Limited.The prize money for this tournament is Tk 50 lakh.
