Dhaka seeks Malaysian investment

Bangladeshi entrepreneurs on Wednesday invited Malaysian investment in the
prospective areas like leather, leather-goods, energy, food processing,
gas-run factories and telecommunications.President of the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) M Sabur Khan
conveyed the invitation during a business meeting with the leaders of the
Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industries of Malaysia (ACCCIM).
The DCCI President said cooperation among Asian countries would have to be
strengthened apart from strengthening bilateral cooperation.
DCCI senior vice president Nesar Maksud Khan, vice president Absar Karim
Chowdhury, and directors Khairul Majid Mahmud, KMN Manjurul Haque, Haider
Ahmed Khan and Abul Hossain were, among others, present. (Source: UNB)
