Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organised a discussion on “Role of Ramadan in attaining Taq’wa” and Iftar Mahfil on Tuesday at a Hotel in Dhaka.G.M Quader, MP, Minister for Commerce was present in the function as chief guest.
Presided over by Engr. Md. Eskander Ali Khan, Chariman, Executive Committee of the Bank, the funtion was addressed by Mohammad Abdul Mannan, Managing Director of the Bank.
Dr. Md. Manzur-e-Elahi, Assistant Professor, National University and member, Shari’ah Supervisory Committee of the Bank presented key notepaper in the discussion while Mawlana Shah Wali Ullah, Khatib, Sobhanbag Jam’e Mosque discussed on the topic.
Present and former Directors, Sponsors, members of Shari‘ah Council and Top Executives of the Bank along with Industrialists, Businessmen, Diplomats & Executives of International organizations, High ranking Officials of Government and non-Government organizations, Journalists and intellectuals, Islamic Thinkers, Professionals and dignitaries of different levels of the society were present in the function.
